Harnett County Solid Waste Management Services:

Harnett County currently operates two separate facilities in the county. Each facility has a C&D landfill, a MSW transfer station, one LCID landfill located at the Dunn-Erwin facility, and several closed landfill cells. C. T. Clayton, Sr., P. E., Inc. recently sited and permitted the design of a C&D expansion for the Anderson Creek facility that is currently under construction. In addition, a landfill gas extraction system and flare station was recently designed and constructed at the Dunn-Erwin facility.

Town of Princeton, NC:

C. T. Clayton, Sr., P. E., Inc., is currently completing a Sewer Collection System Rehabilitation and Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrade project for the Town of Princeton, NC located in Johnston County. Due to the age and degradation of much of the Town’s sewer collection system and treatment facility, the Town was forced to begin upgrading and rehabilitating the existing infrastructure. C. T. assisted the Town in obtaining a USDA grant that would allow them to finance the huge undertaking. As of December 2004, the sewer system rehabilitation was substantially complete and construction had begun on the treatment facility upgrade. As a result of a economic design, additional funding was available for use in rehabilitating a portion of the Town’s water distribution system in the near future.
